Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma’s European Tour for ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Summit
Jaipur, Rajasthan, India – Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is set to lead a delegation to Germany and the United Kingdom to promote Rajasthan as a prime investment destination. This visit is part of the preparations for the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024.
Purpose of the Visit
The delegation aims to attract European investors through meetings in Munich and London, focusing on sectors like construction, mobility, AI, tourism, and renewable energy. Key meetings will include discussions with companies such as Albatross Projects, Knauf Engineering, and JCB.
Engagements and Meetings
In Munich, the delegation will meet Dr. Florian Herrmann, Head of the Bavarian State Chancellery. In London, they will engage with UK parliamentarians to strengthen economic ties. The team will also connect with the Non-Resident Rajasthani community and the Indian diaspora.
Accompanying Officials
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, ACS to CM Shikhar Agrawal, and other senior officials will join the Chief Minister on this tour.
Investment Proposals and Summit Details
Rajasthan has already secured investment proposals worth over INR 12.75 lakh crore. The ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Summit, scheduled for December 9-11, will feature sessions on agriculture, renewable energy, and more. It is organized by the Government of Rajasthan with FICCI and PwC India.
