On October 13, the Israeli military detected five projectiles launched from Lebanon around 9:00 am. Sirens were heard in the Upper Galilee, Central Galilee, Western Galilee, Haifa Bay, and Carmel regions. All projectiles were successfully intercepted by air defenses.

Hezbollah Weapons Seized

Israeli forces discovered Hezbollah weapons hidden in civilian homes in southern Lebanon. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released footage showing mines, rifles, combat vests, and anti-tank missiles intended for a Hezbollah invasion of the Galilee. The IDF reported face-to-face battles, eliminating terrorists, and destroying terrorist infrastructure along the border.

Hezbollah’s Use of Civilian Homes

Sarit Zahavi, president of the Alma Research Center, explained that Hezbollah uses civilian homes for military purposes, including weapons storage and tunnel entrances. She noted that in Shi’ite villages of south Lebanon, every third house is used by Hezbollah.

Recent Strikes and Attacks

The IDF struck over 200 Hezbollah targets, including rocket launchers and ammunition depots. Hezbollah launched 320 missiles, rockets, and drones on Saturday, coinciding with the Yom Kippur holiday. A UAV hit a retirement home in Herzliya, but no injuries were reported.
