Baba Siddique, a three-time MLA from Bandra West, was shot in Nirmal Nagar, Mumbai, around 9:30 pm. He had recently joined Ajit Pawar’s NCP after leaving the Congress. Mumbai Additional CP Paramjit Singh Dahiya confirmed the arrest of two suspects and stated that the Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating the case. The police recovered a 9.9mm pistol used in the crime.
