CM Eknath Shinde Inaugurates Chheda Nagar Flyover

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated the Chheda Nagar flyover in Mumbai. This new flyover is designed to reduce traffic congestion at the Chheda Nagar intersection on the Eastern Express Highway.

Navi Mumbai International Airport

CM Shinde also visited the Navi Mumbai International Airport, where the IAF C-295 aircraft successfully landed. He expressed that the airport, named Lokneta DB Patil Navi Mumbai International Airport, will greatly benefit the people. CM Shinde even flew in the aircraft, noting that the airport will be the largest, with its first runway’s test landing completed.

Economic Potential of Mumbai

On September 22, CM Shinde spoke at the Thane Vikas Parishad, highlighting Mumbai and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region’s potential to become a 1.5 trillion dollar economy. He mentioned a meeting with BVR Subrahmanyam of NITI Aayog, where eight sectors were identified to achieve this economic goal. The Shinde government is actively working on various infrastructure and development projects in the state.
