Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha Celebrates Durga Puja with Community
Agartala, Tripura – On the evening of Maha Asthami, Tripura’s Chief Minister Manik Saha visited various Durga Puja pandals, joining the community in celebration. He expressed his surprise and joy at the long-standing tradition of worship in tribal areas, with some communities celebrating for over 30 years. Saha emphasized the unity and cultural significance of the festival, noting that the entire state came together, setting aside past grievances.
Earlier, on October 10, Saha participated in Matri Aradahana at Ramakrishna Mission and attended festivities at the Sanghati Club in Kailashahar Sri Rampur. He shared warm wishes with residents, highlighting the festival’s role in fostering community spirit. On social media, Saha expressed gratitude for the hospitality of the Roy family during the Punya Saptami Tithi celebrations, describing Durga Puja as a festival of devotion, culture, and unity.
