Elderly Couple Found in Water Tank in Nagaur
In Nagaur, Rajasthan, an elderly couple was discovered dead inside a water tank at their home. The police suspect it to be a case of suicide due to alleged harassment by their children over property issues. A suicide note was found on the wall, indicating the couple’s distress caused by their sons and daughters-in-law.
Police Investigation
Superintendent of Police, Narayan Togas, reported that the couple’s son alerted the police after neighbors noticed no movement from the couple for two days. Upon investigation, the police found the bodies in the water tank. A post-mortem is scheduled, and further investigations are underway.
