On October 10, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha expressed his condolences to the Tata family following the passing of Ratan Tata on October 9. In a heartfelt message, he praised Tata’s visionary leadership and commitment to social responsibility.

The final journey of Ratan Tata’s remains took place at the Worli Crematorium in Mumbai, attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other dignitaries, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal also paid tribute, highlighting Tata’s passion, simplicity, and humility. He shared a personal story about Tata’s generosity during a visit to New York.

The Maharashtra government declared a day of mourning in honor of Tata, who was born on December 28, 1937, in Mumbai. He was a prominent industrialist and philanthropist, serving as Chairman of Tata Sons and receiving the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
