Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, paid tribute to Tata, recognizing his global impact and leadership. Tata was previously honored with the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.

Public Farewell

The public was invited to pay their respects to Tata at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai, where his body was displayed draped in the national flag. His final journey was scheduled for 4 pm.
