Tragic Clash in Chennai: Presidency College Student Sundar Dies After Attack by Pachaiyappa’s College Students
A student named Sundar from Presidency College in Chennai tragically passed away after being attacked by a group of students from Pachaiyappa’s College. The incident took place at the Moore Market Complex on October 4.
Sundar, an undergraduate political science student, was assaulted with bare hands, resulting in severe injuries to his ears, neck, and chest. He was immediately taken to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, where he was treated in the ICU. Unfortunately, Sundar succumbed to his injuries.
Following the incident, Chennai police arrested five students from Pachaiyappa’s College. The accused, identified as Chandru, Yuvaraj, Eshwar, Hari Prasath, and Kamaleshwaran, have been charged with murder under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
