BJP’s Victory in Haryana: Manohar Lal Khattar Credits Public and Party Workers

In New Delhi, as the BJP nears a majority in the Haryana assembly, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar attributes the party’s success to the public and party workers. He emphasized the work done for Haryana’s wrestlers, farmers, and youth, which he claims Congress could not achieve. Khattar stated, “The credit for this victory goes to our party workers and the people of the state.”

Khattar also criticized Congress for its allegations against the Election Commission, echoing Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini’s remarks. He mentioned that predictions often fail, as the public doesn’t always reveal their true intentions.

Responding to Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s ’36 Biradari’ comments, Khattar reiterated his belief in unity, saying, “Haryana ek, Haryanvi ek.”

Celebrations erupted with firecrackers outside Khattar’s residence in Delhi. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal expressed confidence in BJP’s victory, crediting PM Modi’s decade-long efforts for societal development.

According to the Election Commission, BJP has won 26 seats and is leading in 24 out of 90 seats in Haryana, while Congress has secured 20 seats and is leading in 15. Two independent candidates have also won seats.
