Rajasthan Police Trainee Siblings Arrested in Exam Paper Leak Case

In Jaipur, Rajasthan, the Special Operations Group (SOG) has arrested two trainee sub-inspectors from the Rajasthan Police Academy. The siblings, Dinesh Kumar and Priyanka Kumari, are from Jalore district and were involved in the 2021 Rajasthan Police SI recruitment exam paper leak. They were shown the leaked paper by Gopal Saran, a suspended sub-inspector, and used it to pass the exam. Their father, Bhagirath, is currently absconding. The siblings have been sent to police custody until October 11 for further interrogation.

Additionally, Santoshi, related to a previously arrested individual, and Chhammi Bai, who acted as a dummy candidate, have also been detained. The SOG has arrested over 40 trainee SIs in connection with this case. The Rajasthan government has formed a committee to review the exam and consider its cancellation. The committee’s first meeting took place in Jaipur.
