Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Hiramani Aarogyadham facility in Adalaj, Gujarat. This facility, built by the Janshayak Trust at a cost of Rs 50 crore, is a tribute to Shah’s parents and inspired by Shri Narhari Amin’s commitment to society.

Health Initiatives by Prime Minister Modi

Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for prioritizing health through a comprehensive framework of 37 schemes. He emphasized the importance of making healthcare accessible, especially for the underprivileged, and noted that environmental pollution and fast-paced lifestyles contribute to health issues.

Expansion of Medical Education

Shah highlighted the increase in medical colleges and seats, with plans to add 75,000 more seats in the next decade. The Ayushman card, providing health coverage for 60 crore poor individuals, was also mentioned.
