On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a ‘Janta Darshan’ program at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur. During the event, he interacted with children, offering them chocolates, and listened to the grievances of citizens, especially women, who attended the program. He instructed officials to address the issues raised by the public.

Campaigning in Haryana

Earlier, on Thursday, CM Yogi addressed a public rally in Kurukshetra, Haryana, as part of the final day of campaigning for the October 5 assembly elections. He highlighted the development achieved under the ‘double-engine government,’ mentioning infrastructure improvements and employment opportunities. He also referenced the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing the government’s achievements.

Upcoming Haryana Elections

Haryana is set to hold elections on October 5 to elect its 90-member state legislative assembly, with results to be announced on October 8. In the 2019 elections, the BJP won 40 seats, while Congress secured 30 seats.
