Yogi Adityanath Highlights Development in Haryana Ahead of Elections
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke at a public rally in Kurukshetra, Haryana, emphasizing the achievements of the double-engine government over the past decade. He highlighted infrastructure developments like highways, railways, and flyovers, and noted the growth in the industrial sector, which has provided employment opportunities without corruption. At another rally in Shahbad, he praised Ayodhya as a symbol of the government’s power and reiterated the success of projects in Haryana under the double-engine government. He criticized those involved in the drug trade, likening them to demons, and emphasized the government’s role in bringing positive change. CM Yogi also reflected on Kurukshetra’s historical significance as a ‘Dharmakshetra’ due to the Mahabharata.
Haryana is set to hold its assembly elections on October 5, with 90 seats up for grabs. In the previous 2019 elections, the BJP won 40 seats, while Congress secured 30. The vote counting for Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir will occur on October 8.
