BJP Leaders Meet to Plan for Delhi Assembly Elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a meeting at the residence of party president Jagat Prakash Nadda to discuss the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The meeting lasted for about half an hour and was attended by key leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah, Organisation General Secretary BL Santosh, Delhi State President Virendra Sachdeva, former Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri, and Pravesh Verma.

During the meeting, issues such as unauthorized colonies, slums, water problems, and electricity bills were discussed. The BJP also focused on creating a strategic plan to challenge the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government on corruption. The high command was directed to prepare a road map for the Delhi Assembly elections within seven days.

The BJP aims to bring the central government’s achievements to the public and develop a strategy to win the assembly elections. The Delhi Assembly elections are scheduled for February 2025, and the BJP is determined to contest with full strength, aiming to win all 70 assembly seats in Delhi.

Strategies discussed include exposing the shortcomings and corruption of Arvind Kejriwal’s government and highlighting the central government’s achievements. In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, the AAP won 62 out of 70 seats, while the BJP secured eight seats. The Congress party did not win any seats.

Slums -: Slums are very crowded areas in cities where people live in poor conditions, often without proper houses or basic services.

Aam Aadmi Party -: Aam Aadmi Party, or AAP, is another political party in India. They are currently in power in Delhi.
