Tripura CM Manik Saha Criticizes Opposition and Praises PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat
Agartala (Tripura) [India], September 29: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha criticized the opposition CPI (M) and Congress, accusing them of spreading superstitions during their time in power. Saha made these remarks while addressing a gathering after watching the 114th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat at Booth No. 20 of 6 Agartala Mandal.
Speaking at the event, Saha stated, “In the coming days, there will be a time when there is no substitute for the BJP, as our party always works for the people and for development. For the past 35 years, CPIM’s rule has given us superstition, and even Congress spread the same. No one will be spared. Don’t ever try to confuse the people–they have lost the support of the people.”
Saha highlighted that the BJP now has almost 6 lakh members and emphasized the party’s commitment to helping people during crises like floods and COVID-19. He criticized the opposition for blaming the BJP after such events and noted the violence during the CPIM and Congress eras.
The Chief Minister also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and outreach, particularly through the Mann Ki Baat program. He mentioned that PM Modi started Mann Ki Baat in 2014 and that it offers valuable lessons. Saha appreciated PM Modi’s advance wishes for Durga Puja and Diwali and his encouragement to live peacefully.
Saha further noted PM Modi’s emphasis on initiatives like Swachh Bharat and Vocal for Local. He stated, “Due to Vocal for Local, the value of our products has increased in foreign markets. India always strives for unity. We are blessed to have a Prime Minister like him.”
