Sheikh Hamdan and Saida Mirziyoyeva Attend UAE-Uzbekistan Knowledge Exchange Retreat in Tashkent
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, along with Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, and Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, attended the UAE-Uzbekistan Government Knowledge Exchange Retreat held in Tashkent on Friday.
The retreat, organized during Sheikh Hamdan’s official visit to Uzbekistan, focused on enhancing knowledge exchange and expanding the strategic partnership between the two nations. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the UAE’s commitment to building effective partnerships under the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the exceptional results of the UAE-Uzbekistan strategic partnership, which serves as a unique model for international collaboration. He noted that the cooperation aims to advance sustainable development, knowledge-sharing, and government efficiency to improve the quality of life for people in both countries.
Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, discussed the evolution of the UAE-Uzbekistan partnership since 2019, noting achievements in 41 sectors. He emphasized the retreat’s role in generating new ideas and solutions for sustainable development.
The retreat covered eight key areas: investment and economic growth, energy and infrastructure development, digital transformation, education and community development, environment, health, tourism, and government development.
