Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh spoke at a rally in Jhajjar, Haryana, where he criticized the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for not fulfilling their promises. He claimed that wherever Congress has been in power, the state’s condition has worsened.

Congress Criticism

Singh highlighted that Congress has failed to deliver on its promises in states like Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana. He mentioned that the Chief Minister of Karnataka is facing corruption charges. Singh also accused Rahul Gandhi of tarnishing India’s image abroad.

AAP Criticism

Singh also criticized the AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal, for making false promises to win elections. He pointed out the poor condition of Punjab under AAP’s governance.

BJP’s Promises

Singh highlighted BJP’s promises, including financial support for women, health benefits, affordable gas cylinders, and opportunities for Agniveer soldiers. He also mentioned the provision of affordable urea for farmers and the improvement in household tap water availability.

Economic Growth

Singh emphasized India’s economic growth, stating that the country has become the 5th largest economy and aims to be a developed nation by 2047.

One Nation, One Election

Singh supported the ‘One Nation, One Election’ proposal, which aims to conduct simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections to save time and money.

Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5, with results announced on October 8.
