Financial Aid Announced

The Advocate General’s office announced that Rs 10 lakh will be given to Saini’s family by the state government, along with an additional Rs 1 lakh from the Advocate General’s office. Saini’s wife, Seema Kumar Saini, has been assured employment.

Former CM Ashok Gehlot’s Statement

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed his sorrow and urged the state government to provide financial assistance to Saini’s family. He also called for the regularization of contract workers and proper pay scales.

Family and Lawyer Protests

Saini’s family and lawyers staged protests, demanding better compensation and job security for his widow. Saini’s brother, Ravish Saini, mentioned that Manish wanted to become a regular employee and was troubled by the ongoing case in the Supreme Court regarding his employment.

Revised Salaries for Contractual Staff

Effective from October 1, 2024, the salaries for contractual staff have been revised. The salary of a stenographer has been increased from Rs 4,400 to Rs 17,000, junior clerk from Rs 5,600 to Rs 14,000, and book lifter from Rs 4,400 to Rs 11,000.
