The Kanpur Police has dismissed reports that Bangladesh cricket fan Tiger Robby was assaulted at Green Park Stadium during the second Test match between India and Bangladesh. According to the Police Commissionerate of Kanpur Nagar, Robby fell ill in front of the media gallery and was taken to the medical camp by police officers present at the scene.

Assistant Police Commissioner of Kanpur Nagar, Abhishek Kumar Pandey, stated in a video that Robby is currently healthy and fine. A liaison officer has been assigned to him for immediate assistance if needed. Robby himself confirmed in a video from the hospital that he felt better after receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, the first day of the second Test match was called off early due to heavy rain. Bangladesh scored 107/3, with Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim unbeaten at 40 and 6 runs, respectively. India leads the two-match series 1-0 after winning the first Test by 280 runs.
