Rishabh Pant Shines in Bangladesh Series, Climbs ICC Test Rankings
New Delhi [India], September 25: Rishabh Pant returned to international Tests in the Bangladesh series after recovering from a serious car accident. He immediately made an impact with brisk scores, including a century in the second innings of the first match. This performance brought him back to the ICC Test rankings, placing him in sixth position.
The ICC Test and ODI rankings saw significant changes after intense international cricket action. Yashasvi Jaiswal moved to fifth place with 751 rating points, helped by a half-century in the first innings of the Bangladesh match. Pant follows him with 731 points. Rohit Sharma retained his spot in the top 10 but dropped five places due to single-digit scores in the first Test of the two-match series.
