Rishabh Pant and Yashasvi Jaiswal Shine in ICC Test Rankings
Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has re-entered the top 10 in the ICC Test Rankings, reaching sixth place after scoring a century in India’s victory over Bangladesh in Chennai. Yashasvi Jaiswal moved up to fifth place, thanks to his half-century in the same match.
Rohit Sharma dropped to 10th place, while Virat Kohli fell to 12th after a poor performance in Chennai. Shubman Gill climbed to 14th place following a century.
In the bowlers’ rankings, Jasprit Bumrah remained second, just behind Ravichandran Ashwin, who stayed at the top. Ravindra Jadeja moved up to sixth place among bowlers.

Sri Lanka’s Prabath Jayasuriya moved up to eighth place in the bowling rankings after a nine-wicket match against New Zealand. Other notable movers included Kamindu Mendis and Dhananjaya de Silva in the batting and all-rounder rankings, respectively.
