Manchester City Brings Trophies and Football Fun to Delhi with Shaun Wright-Phillips
Manchester City recently visited Delhi as part of their Champions 4-in-a-row Trophy Tour. The tour featured football legend Shaun Wright-Phillips and included various community visits and activities across the city.
Community Visits and Coaching Sessions
During their stay, Manchester City organized a coaching day in Delhi, bringing together coaches and volunteers to experience the club’s coaching methods. Workshops and football drills were conducted to encourage cross-learning and adaptability in community sessions.
Healthy Heroes Project
Shaun Wright-Phillips visited Sultanpuri to launch the ‘Healthy Heroes’ project in collaboration with Etihad Airways and the Magic Bus India Foundation. The project aims to use sports to equip adolescents from underprivileged communities with life skills and support their education and future aspirations.
Fan Event at Vegas Mall
The tour concluded with a fan event at Vegas Mall, where fans could take photos with the trophies, participate in football drills, and watch a Manchester City vs. Arsenal match, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

After a successful visit to Delhi, the Champions 4-in-a-row Trophy Tour will head to Kolkata, following the launch of the first Manchester City Football School in West Bengal.
