Arvind Kejriwal Claims AAP’s Crucial Role in Haryana Government Formation

Arvind Kejriwal, the National Convener of Aam Admi Party (AAP), stated on Monday that no government can be formed in Haryana without AAP’s support. Speaking at a roadshow in Dabwali, Haryana, Kejriwal emphasized his honesty, saying, ‘In the entire world, no one believes that Kejriwal is a thief. I have resigned and asked the people of Delhi to elect me only if they think I am honest.’

Kejriwal, who was recently released from Tihar Jail, also promised free electricity in Haryana if AAP supports the government. He added, ‘BJP tried very hard to break your son, tortured me, and stopped my medicines. But I am a boy from Haryana; they can break anyone but not a person from Haryana.’

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Congress for internal conflicts over Haryana Assembly tickets and the Chief Ministerial position. Addressing a rally in Jagadhari, Haryana, Shah said, ‘Hooda father and son are fighting amongst themselves. They are also fighting over ticket distribution.’

Shah also highlighted BJP’s implementation of the one rank, one pension scheme, saying, ‘Haryana has been demanding one rank, one pension for 40 years. BJP formed govt in 2014 and passed one rank, one pension scheme in 2015.’

Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5, with votes counted on October 8 along with those in Jammu and Kashmir.
