India-US Bilateral Meeting

During a bilateral meeting on Saturday, President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Modi praised efforts to create resilient, secure, and sustainable semiconductor supply chains. This includes GlobalFoundries’ creation of the GF Kolkata Power Center in Kolkata, India, which will enhance research and development in chip manufacturing.

Two industry roundtables have been convened in the US and India to bring together startups, private equity and venture capital firms, corporate investment departments, and government officials to accelerate investment in innovation.
