Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman Faces Legal Action for Unauthorized Gathering in Sahiwal

A case has been filed against Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, along with party employees and officials for organizing a gathering in Sahiwal without permission. The protest caused severe disruptions for patients trying to reach DHQ Qayyum Hospital.

During the protest, Naeem-ur-Rehman criticized the current political system, calling it repressive and controlled by a small elite that monopolizes opportunities and resources. He highlighted that while the wealthy have access to advanced education and healthcare, common people are left to struggle.

He also accused the MQM-P and PPP of exploiting the people of Karachi and emphasized that his party, JUI-F, is committed to fighting entrenched political forces. Naeem-ur-Rehman voiced concerns about the government’s attempts to influence the legislature and court system in its favor. He mentioned discussions about a constitutional amendment bill that has not been adopted and expressed hope that political leaders like Maulana Fazlur Rehman would continue to oppose these efforts.
