Indian and US troops are participating in the 20th edition of Exercise Yudh Abhyas at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan. The aim is to strengthen interoperability and foster greater synergy between the two forces.

The soldiers engaged in various drills, including targeting small drones with trained birds, firing howitzers, heavy machine guns, and mortars, and showcasing their armored vehicles. Apache attack helicopters and ALH Dhruv variants also participated in counter-terrorism drills.

Exercise Yudh Abhyas has been held annually since 2004, alternating between India and the US. This year’s exercise began on September 9 and will continue until September 22.
