Syed Naseruddin Chishty and Others Discuss Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024 in New Delhi

He expressed optimism, stating, “A delegation of the All India Sufi Sajjadanashin Council had come to put forth their points and suggestions regarding the Waqf (Amendment) Bill in front of the JPC committee…This is a very good thing that after listening to all the stakeholders, a decision will be taken…”

In the second session, the committee recorded views from the Muslim Rashtriya Manch. The previous day, the fifth sitting of the committee saw heated debates on the rights of the Muslim community and the majority population.
