According to the police, the businessman received a threat call on October 16 from the accused, who claimed to be members of the Bambiha gang. A case was registered for extortion and intimidation based on the complaint.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Parminder, a resident of Muktsar, and Sushil from Sirsa district. The police recovered a .32 bore pistol, four cartridges, a bike, and a mobile phone from their possession.
