Jhajjar (Haryana) [India], September 19: Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda has alleged that the BJP copied the Congress manifesto after releasing their own for the Haryana assembly elections. Hooda criticized the BJP for not fulfilling past promises, such as depositing Rs 15 lakh in bank accounts, doubling farmers’ income, and reducing fuel prices. He claimed that the BJP’s new manifesto is a moral victory for Congress.

Earlier today, Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda, along with Haryana BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, launched the BJP manifesto in Rohtak, Haryana. The BJP’s promises include:

  • Guaranteed jobs for Agniveers
  • Financial assistance of Rs 2,100 per month under ‘Lado Laxmi Yojana’
  • Building ten industrial cities to boost employment
  • Increasing healthcare benefits under Chirayu Ayushman from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh per year
  • Offering scooters to college-going female students under the Awal Balika Yojana
  • Providing LPG cylinders for Rs 500 under the Har Ghar Grahini Yojana
