5-Month-Old Baby Survives Leopard Attack in Jamnagar, Says Dr. Sonal Shah
A 5-month-old baby girl was attacked by a leopard while she was sleeping outside with her mother in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The incident occurred early in the morning, between 6 am and 6:30 am. The baby was brought to GG Hospital in a critical state with severe head injuries and brain hemorrhage.
Dr. Sonal Shah, a senior doctor at GG Hospital, explained that the baby was in a very serious condition when she arrived. She had injuries on her head and was bleeding. A CT scan revealed brain hemorrhage, and the baby received blood transfusion and stitches.
Dr. Shah confirmed that the baby has now regained consciousness and is in stable condition. The mother recounted that the leopard attacked suddenly while they were sleeping outside their residence.
