47 Cows Stolen from Bhopal Gaushala, Police Recover Them from Forest
In a shocking incident, 47 cattle, including calves, were stolen from a Gaushala in Runaha village, located on the outskirts of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The theft happened on September 18 when no one was present at the Gaushala, possibly due to Ganesh idol immersion or other activities.
The next day, the caretaker discovered the theft and reported it to the police. Superintendent of Police (SP, rural) Pramod Kumar Sinha stated that the police registered a case, formed teams, and began a search in the area. The police successfully recovered all the cattle from a nearby forest.
Using CCTV footage, the police identified the suspects, who have a history of stealing and selling animals. The investigation is ongoing, and efforts to arrest the suspects are underway. SP Sinha confirmed that the incident is not an inter-religion matter.
