3-Year-Old Girl in Delhi’s Jain Nagar Rescued After Assault
A 3-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted while she was sleeping on a cot in front of her house in Delhi’s Jain Nagar under Begumpur police station limit.
Incident Details
According to officials, the victim’s mother mentioned in her complaint that on September 9, her daughter was sleeping on a cot in front of their house. After some time, she noticed that her daughter was missing from the cot. She searched for her daughter and found her in the bushes nearby. The 25-year-old accused was also present there but ran away upon seeing her.
Police Action
The mother lodged a complaint, and a case was registered at Begumpur police station. The girl was medically examined at BSA Hospital. Later, the accused was arrested, and further investigation is underway.
