19 Students Hospitalized After Rat Repellent Incident at Bengaluru’s Adarsh Nursing College
Nineteen students from Adarsh Nursing College in Bengaluru were taken to the hospital after they faced breathing problems due to rat repellent sprayed in their hostel on the night of August 18. The incident was confirmed by West Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner of Police S Girish.
Details of the Incident
According to the Deputy Commissioner, three of the 19 students, named Jayan Varghese, Dileesh, and Jo Mon, are seriously ill and have been moved to the ICU. The other students and hostel staff have received treatment and are now healthy.
Legal Action
A case will be registered under section 286 BNS against the hostel management staff responsible for spraying the rat repellent. Further details are awaited.
