The police received a PCR call on Tuesday night from Bharat Vihar, stating that a scuffle had broken out and the caller’s brother was stabbed. The police immediately reached the scene.

Medical Response

Ashu was initially taken to Indira Gandhi Hospital in Dwarka and later referred to Safdarjung Hospital, where he was declared dead by the hospital authorities.

Police Action

An FIR was registered under appropriate sections, which were later converted to murder charges after Ashu succumbed to his injuries. The accused, a minor, was apprehended on Wednesday, and a kitchen knife was recovered from him.
