An 18-month-old boy named Harinandan was attacked by a stray dog near Satavahana University in Karimnagar, Telangana. The incident was captured on CCTV, showing the toddler playing with another child when the dog pounced on him, causing severe injuries. His mother, who was nearby, rushed to rescue him and chased the dog away. Harinandan was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Earlier, a woman in Hyderabad was attacked by a pack of 15 stray dogs during her morning walk on June 21. The incident was also recorded on CCTV. The victim’s husband, Badri, complained that tenants feed stray animals inside their rented premises. Rajeshwari, the woman who was attacked, criticized local authorities for not addressing the stray dog issue, stating that the situation could have been deadly if it involved children or the elderly.
