1600 iPhones Stolen in Madhya Pradesh: Police Suspect Security Guard Involvement
In Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, around 1600 iPhones worth Rs 12 crore were stolen from a truck, according to the police. The initial investigation suggests that the security guard accompanying the truck might be involved in the theft.
The truck was on its way from Gurugram in Haryana to Chennai when the incident occurred. Inspector-General of Police of Sagar Zone, Pramod Verma, said, “We received information that 1,600 iPhones worth Rs 12 crore have been looted…The security guard is said to be the accused…Teams have been formed and we are investigating the matter…”
