14-Year-Old Kartik Singh Leads Indian Team at Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in Japan

Kartik Singh, a 14-year-old golfer from India, is the highest-ranked Indian player set to compete in the 15th Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in Japan. Kartik, along with Krishnav Nikhil Chopra, Vedant Sirohi, and Rakshit Dahiya, will represent India.

Kartik is also part of the 2024 Junior Presidents Cup team. The Championship, featuring 113 players from 38 countries, will be held from October 3-6, 2024, at Taiheiyo Club Gotemba. The winner will earn invitations to the 2025 Masters Tournament and The 153rd Open.

India’s best-ever placing in the Championship was second place by Rayhan Thomas in 2018. The Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship was created in 2009 to develop amateur golf in the Asia-Pacific region. Notable past competitors include 2021 Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama and 2022 Open champion Cameron Smith.
