11 Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested at Agartala Railway Station

On June 30, 2024, authorities arrested 11 Bangladeshi nationals, including six women and their children, at Agartala Railway Station. They were attempting to enter India illegally and planned to travel to Bengaluru and Kashmir by train.

Tapas Das, OC, GRP, Agartala, stated, “They were attempting unauthorized entry into India from Bangladesh, intending to travel to Bengaluru and Kashmir by train.”

The case has been filed at the Agartala GRP Police Station and will be presented before the magistrate on Wednesday.
